Our work
Projects
A straight account of the work Hawk Builders takes on and what each type of job actually involves.
Project types
What each type of job involves

Dormer and hip-to-gable conversions
New floor structure, dormer or gable construction, a compliant staircase, fire separation and escape route, insulation to current standards and rooflights.

Whole-house refurbishments
Back to brick and rebuilt: reconfiguration with steels where walls come out, rewire, heating and plumbing first fix, plastering throughout, then kitchen, bathrooms and finishes.

Structural work and groundworks
Steel beam installation, underpinning, foundations and drainage, built to the structural engineer's calculations, propped and inspected at each stage.

Kitchen and bathroom installations
Full strip-out, plumbing and electrical first fix, tanking and boarding, tiling, then installation of units, sanitaryware and appliances — including items bought by the client.

Garden rooms and outbuildings
Insulated garden offices and studios on proper foundations, composite clad, with a dedicated electrical supply run from the house.
Photographs illustrate the type of work described. Photography of Hawk Builders' own completed projects is being added — ask us for photos of a job like yours in the meantime.
Ask us
Want to see a project like yours?
Tell us what you are planning and the postcode, and we will send photographs of a completed job of a similar type and scale, along with what it involved. It is a more useful comparison than a gallery of somebody else's house.
Process
How a project runs, start to finish
Enquiry
Call, WhatsApp or send the form with your postcode and what you are planning. Drawings or photographs help, but an idea is enough to start.
Site visit
We come and look. Access, existing structure and ground conditions decide more about a build than any drawing does.
Itemised quotation
A written quote broken down by stage and trade, stating the assumptions the price rests on and listing who supplies each item and who fits it.
Construction
Materials and trades sequenced in the right order so the job does not stall waiting on itself. One point of contact throughout.
Completion and handover
A walkthrough of the finished work, certification for the works carried out, and a direct number if anything needs attention afterwards.
